Assignment Instructions:
The Master’s Student Orientation introduces you to the University, ensures you understand the expectations for graduate study at APU/AMU, and provides you with critical resources needed to be a successful graduate student.
This Assignment requires you to read the statement below from Laurie Woeste, our Dean of Graduate Studies and Research, to learn how to access the orientation.
Once you are in the orientation, you must go through each module.
At the end of each module is a Knowledge Quiz.

The Master’s Student Orientation is a way to learn more about the expectations for graduate studies at APUS, and it is mandatory for you to complete this orientation.
Please find the Master’s Student Orientation here [webpage].
If you have already completed the Master’s Student Orientation in another course, including all quizzes, you may proceed to the Week 2 assignment to acknowledge your completion.
Congratulations on meeting this milestone!
Keep in mind you must have completed the Master’s Student Orientation, including all quizzes, by 11:55pm, ET, Sunday of Week 2.

Please Note:
ALL incoming graduate students are required to complete the Master’s Student Orientation within the first 2 weeks of the first course of their graduate program.
Failure to complete the orientation during this time period may result in academic dismissal.
If you have already completed the Master’s Student Orientation in another course, you do not need to review the orientation again, but you will just need to complete a submission for this Assignment.
To do that, you will need to know the Course ID, Section and Semester in which you completed the orientation, e.g.

There are two parts to this Assignment: (1) posting of the personal statement that you have completed all parts of the Graduate Student Orientation (or affirmation with details of completed Graduate Student Orientation); and (2) 100-150 word discussion of your “personal take” on the overall Graduate Student Orientation.
Please continue with the following two parts below.
Part 1 – Master’s Student Orientation Completion Statement
Once you have completed all modules and have read the Academic Dishonesty section in the Student Handbook, please re-type or copy and paste the following into the submission window and then add your name where indicated to signify that you agree:

Part 2 – Master’s Student Orientation – Personal Reflection of Learning Activity.
Instructions
Instructions: Please write up a quick 100-150-word discussion of your “personal take” on the overall Graduate Student Orientation.
You should include this after your “Graduate Student Orientation” completion paragraph.
Note: Both Parts 1 and 2 need to be completed to earn all possible credit.
