Assistance for HIST 102 AMU week 3 forum Imperialism Debate American History since 1877 American Military university is available at Domyclass
You have been divided into four groups. For this forum, Group A will assume the role of Mark Twain or William Jennings Bryan both opposed to Imperialism, while Group B will assume the role of Naval Officer Alfred Thayer Mahan or Teddy Roosevelt who will argue in support. In Group C you will assume the role of black activist W.E.B DuBois or Ida B. Wells-Barnett and you decide whether you are for or against American Imperialism. The arguments for, and against, expansion took many avenues. Your submission should be a minimum of 250 words in length. Uses sources to ascertain how these people would fell about Imperialism and why. Be creative. See “Foundations of Empire” in text for basic information and background. You will be sure that of your three replies to other students’ initial posts at least one is to a student opposing whatever position you took in the Imperialism debate.
For the remainder of you, In Group D, you will answer the question assigned to you and you will be sure that of your three replies to other students’ initial posts at least one is to a student in the Imperialism debate.
After your initial submission, you are then required to continue the debate by responding to three of your classmates. Your responses should be a minimum of 125 words, and should contribute to the dialogue. Your initial response is due by 11:55pm, ET, Friday and your responses to 3 other students by 11:55pm, ET, Sunday.
