ITCC113_Week_ 1_Transcript.pptxAdditional Tips Slide layouts contain formatting, text and object positioning, and placeholders for all of the slide content. Layouts determine how text and content are arranged on a slide. One theme can accommodate many different layouts. By default, the first slide in the presentation has a Title layout. Placeholders, as the name implies, are used to hold a place for objects that may be included on a slide. Commands related to applying layouts are located in the Slides group on the Home tab of the Ribbon.

•Positioning the cursor using the mouse
•Positioning the cursor using keyboard shortcuts
•Entering text using the keyboard
