- Additional TipsIt is a good idea to apply poster frames to enhance the appearance of videos that are not currently playing. By definition, a poster frame is the preview image for a video clip. Typically, a poster frame is either a frame from the video itself or an image from a file. Options related to applying poster frames are accessible via the Adjust group on the Video Tools Format tab that appears on the Ribbon when a video is selected.Difficult Concept:
Set a poster frame for a video.PowerPoint 2013 provides several options that facilitate the playback of long videos. One of these options is trimming. Using trimming, it is possible to set a start and end time for a video. Bookmarks are another playback-related option. Once bookmarks have been inserted, it is possible to jump to specific areas of a video rather than view an entire video sequentially.
