Now at this “reinforced” level, the LED514 Case 4 takes oral communications a step further by developing an outline from which to later create a slide presentation at the “Mastered” level in LED599 (Integrative Capstone). Your oral communications skills will be further developed as you create a PowerPoint presentation complete with an audio narration. These three assignments build upon each other and aim to offer you the opportunity to enhance and practice your oral communications preparation and delivery skills. The dedicated grading rubric for MSL Oral Communication has been developed to measure student success in meeting the LED514 Case 4 expectations related to oral communications. Rubrics for the other two courses are included in their respective oral communications assignments.
Assignment Expectations
· Include a cover page and reference page in addition to the 5 – 9 pages of analysis described above. Remember that when an assignment calls for 5-9 pages, the assignment was created to result in a paper 9 pages in length; however, your professor may accept a paper that is at least 5 full pages. · Your paper must include an Introduction and a Conclusion paragraph. · Include your coachee’s assessment of the sessions as an appendix. · Include the PowerPoint outline as a second appendix. · Use headings to indicate major sections of the report (this is the “organization” part of the grading rubric). · Cite and reference all sources used to complete this assignment. Your reference list must contain at least 3 high quality peer-reviewed references from the Trident Online Library. · Use APA formatting according to the 7th edition. · Proofread and edit your papers carefully. The expectation is zero errors. The best tool to do this is the Editor tool found in MS Word toolbar at the top of the page.
