Unit IV Leadership Theory TKSResources The following resource(s) may help you with this assignment. By submitting this assignment, I verify that I am submitting an original work in accordance with the Academic Integrity Policy in the CSU Student Handbook. Aspiring Doctors, I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving this week! In Unit IV we will be exploring followers from a leader's perspective. How does a leader get more out of followers (motivation) and how can their satisfaction and engagement be increased? Chapters 9 & 10 in text + study guide. Keep an eye out for something in Chapter 9 that I think many of us in this class have in common. On pp. 326 of the text the authors introduce "achievement orientation" and later "grit" on pp. 331. As a group of professionals seeking a Doctorate, I am confident many of you, like me, reflect this orientation and it may be worth some time examining it a bit. Another assignment is due this unit - you will be taking the two leadership theories you examined in Unit III and connecting them to two motivation theories you will select from a list (you will see my favorite - Herzberg's two factor). You will leverage high quality sources (as defined in the prompt) to help in your analysis. Again, please read all components of the assignment carefully as there are several of them.
