Choose and complete any TWO Activities from the following PhysioEx Exercises: Exercise 4: Endocrine System Physiology (EXCEPT Activity 2)

Exercise 5: Cardiovascular Dynamics Exercise 8: Chemical and Physical Processes of Digestion Exercise 11: Blood Analysis Exercise 12: Serological Testing Evaluation/Grading of the Extra Credit Assignment Points are allocated as follows (Total of 100 points): For each Lab Report: PreLab Quiz completed: 5 points Experiment completed: 20 points PostLab Quiz completed: 5 points Review Sheet completed: 20 points

To access the Virtual Lab Simulations: NOTE: You must have already registered on the web site in order to log in: If you have not, follow the instructions in COURSE OVERVIEW: Course Materials.

To perform the Virtual Lab Simulations

From the PhysioEx menu, select the Exercise you chose to perform.
Select “Overview” and read the Exercise Overview.
Instructions
Select the Activity link you chose to perform and follow the onscreen instructions.
Answer all of the questions as they are displayed during the activity.
Answer the questions on your own and in your own words using the laboratory manual and course textbook.
During the simulation, always “Submit” to automatically record your results in the “Lab Report”
When you answer the short answer questions on the “Review Sheet”, end your answers with your name and student ID number.
When you complete the activity, your “Lab Report” is displayed.
Select “Save to PDF” to save your lab report on your computer in PDF format.
Rename this document to include your first and last name prior to saving (e.g.
PEX01 01_FirstnameLastname.pdf).
Select the “PEx” tab at the top of the PhysioEx window.
Repeat steps 1 through 8 for the second Activity you chose to perform.
Make sure your lab report files are stored in an easily accessible location.
You will submit them below in this Assignment.
